SINGLE INVOICE TCI

Single invoice trade credit insurance for funders

Factors and funders can insure their clients' invoices one at a time. No whole-turnover policies, no commitment.

One invoice at a time
Insure a client's invoices individually, case by case.
No long-term commitment
Use it on an ad hoc basis, with no whole-turnover policy.
Our own structure
Our own structure makes one-off cover possible, without a whole-turnover policy.

HOW IT WORKS

Pick the invoice. We do the rest.

Cover is arranged case by case, so each invoice starts with the customer behind it.

ONE INVOICE AT A TIME

Choose the invoice, not the whole book

Traditional trade credit insurance covers your whole turnover, whether you need it or not. With GFTM you pick the invoice: one customer, one contract, one risk you want covered. Everything else carries on as it is. We just need full details of that customer so that we can assess its credit.

CONFIRMATION

Confirmed acceptance

Before an invoice is insured, the customer confirms that the goods or services have been supplied as agreed and that the invoice is accepted. It is a simple step, but it is the one that makes everything else possible.

Why confirmation matters

Confirmation turns an invoice into an agreed debt. Once the customer has accepted the goods or services, the only risk left is whether it pays, not a dispute about what was delivered. That is what lets us insure one invoice at a time.

What happens next

Once an invoice is insured we monitor it through to its due date and keep the customer informed of what is owed and when. If it goes unpaid, collection begins; if it remains unpaid after that, the claim is settled for the insured share of the invoice.

How the customer confirms

Confirmation is quick. Once the invoice is raised, the customer receives a short request to confirm that delivery was as agreed and that the invoice stands. One reply does it. There is no form to fill in, and nothing changes in how the customer is invoiced or pays.

What it means for a funder

For a factor or funder, a confirmed invoice is a cleaner asset: the debtor has acknowledged it, cover is in place, and the collection process is agreed in advance. That is what makes single-invoice cover workable alongside an existing facility, without disturbing it.
