Stronger Together

Data Sharing

GFTM allows users to share data on the payment performance of customers, without revealing any confidential, commercially sensitive information.

GFTM as intermediary

GFTM will monitor the payment performance of the same customer across a range of suppliers. If we spot data that indicates that there is a deterioration in payment performance, then we will inform other suppliers.

You remain in Control

We won’t reveal specific invoice details or reveal the name of any of the other suppliers, but all contributors of data will be verified.

We record all the data taken from your cloud accounting, and you can view this at any time. We do not write to your accounts package, and we only take data on invoices sent and payments made to and from your customers. We do not record any other data, such as bank or your supplier data, and only use data concerning your customers.

Building a Network

Once two or more suppliers are linked to the GFTM platform, GFTM will aggregate the pooled data, and start providing real time monitoring on the payment performance of the customer.

We will not reveal the name of the other suppliers (nor will the other suppliers know who you are), but we can provide real time data on average debtor days, timliness in opening and responding to payment requests.

We can go further than that. Machine learning can assess how the customer’s payments made to you interact with payments made to other suppliers. By using this other data, as well as the historical payment data provided by your organisation we can start to predict when you are going to get paid based on all the payment data supplied.

Where payments dates differ from expected dates, we will flag this up and if enabled, change the wording on any automated chasing emails.

When data is shared, you will be alerted if another supplier is struggling to get payment, or has failed on an automatic payment plan.
